My story
Why I Started Detailing Cars
I’m a senior this year, which means most of my friends are chasing acceptance letters and trying to figure out where they’ll be next fall. I’m doing that too, but I already know what I want long after graduation: to keep building WEC Detailing into a real, full-time business, not just something I did for extra cash in high school.
I’ve always liked cars more than most people my age, not just driving them, but the process of making one look right. There’s something satisfying about taking a car that’s been sitting through pollen season or hauling kids and beach gear all summer, and handing the keys back looking almost new.
WEC Detailing started small, and it’s still just me. I answer the texts, I show up, I do the work, and I’m the one who checks it before I call it done. No franchise, no crew of strangers, just someone who actually cares whether your car looks right when I’m finished.
I treat every car like it’s the one I’d want to drive myself.
Running this business during my senior year has taught me more than most of what I study in a classroom. It taught me how to talk to customers, manage my time, and actually follow through on what I start. College is next, but I’m not putting this down when I go. The plan is to keep growing WEC Detailing wherever I end up, because running my own detailing business is my dream.
If you book with me, you won’t regret it!
